FSB Notification for cryptography devices, FSTEC permit for export/ import

FSB notifications for import/export of cryptography products Federal Service for Technical and Export Control permit for import/export

RadioCert certification center provides services of preparation and registration support of FSB Notification necessary for customs clearance (import or export) of all equipment (including software) with cryptography functions. The list of cryptography functions permitted for notification is listed in the Appendix 1 to the Regulations on import of encryption tools.

If the equipment contains complex cryptography it is needed to obtain special FSB conclusion and import license of Trade Ministry. The applicant for this documents must have FSB License for activities in the field of cryptography.

FSB Notifications

The import (export) into its territory of Eurasian (Customs) Union of wireless equipment, radio-electronic, telecommunications equipment and other devices that contain cryptography is restricted.
For some types of equipment with complex encryption algorithms, longer key length or wireless range it is necessary to apply for License of the Industry and Trade Ministry.
For the import of other equipment with simpler cryptographic functions you should resister notification.
Notifications are registered by FSB.
Notification of foreign products can be signed:

By Russian Company – If they provide Notary authorization with Apostille (or consulate authorization) from the foreign manufacturer;
Foreign manufacturer – signature with Apostille or consulate authorization.
